Infographic explaining recommended humidity, temperature, airflow, and drying conditions during the first 24–48 hours after wallpaper installation.

Proper drying conditions are essential for a successful wallpaper installation. During the first 24–48 hours, the wallpaper adhesive needs time to cure naturally.

To achieve the best results:

  • Avoid strong airflow from air conditioners, fans, or open windows
  • Prevent drafts during the drying process
  • Maintain a comfortable room temperature of approximately 65–75°F / 18–24°C
  • Avoid excessive humidity or rapid temperature changes
  • Do not wipe, wash, or scrub the wallpaper until the adhesive has fully cured
  • If you notice small bubbles immediately after installation, do not press or puncture them. They often disappear naturally as the adhesive dries.

Allowing the wallpaper to dry slowly and undisturbed helps ensure proper adhesion, tighter seams, and a flawless long-lasting finish.
